Principal's Message

Welcome to Bright Angels International School! We are a lovely and child inviting school situated in Nyarutarama. We strive to put forth our moto ‘’Good education combined with positive discipline leads to success’’ in our daily interactions with the learners. We continuously work towards the best practices, paying close attention to the Cambridge Learners’ Profile. Bright Angels International School teachers are dynamic and engaged They work hard to provide a learning environment that promotes high academic standards, strong values and cultivate an enthusiasm for life-long learning.

The Primary and Nursery Schools welcome learners from Daycare to Grade 6. We offer a bilingual(French-English) program. The Cambridge Primary Program is offered from Nursery 3 (5 yrs old). At the end of the primary school, Children sit for international certification in both French (DELF PRIM) and English (Cambridge Primary Checkpoint).

According to the needs of our learners the following optional programs are available:

The Reading Intervention Program

Children who come in contact for the first time with French or English benefit from our Early/Late literacy intervention program at least for 18 weeks to enable them to function at class level. Here they are taught in small groups of 1 to 4 students, literacy being the focus of the program.

Special Education
Students who qualify for these services are taken into consideration. The school environment is caring and very inclusive. These children benefit from one on one care on daily basis and are taught in both individual and group settings.

The After-School Care is a program designed for parents who have late work schedules. Children come from different schools to benefit from Bright Angels After School Care. Lunch and evening snacks are given to children before they join our Evening Classes (Mostly ICT starters, Library, Kinyarwanda, French and English clubs, sports, …). They also benefit from our cross-curricular activities from 3:30-4:30.

The Homework Support Program:

As mentioned before, some of our parent’s pick-up late in the evening. In order to smooth up our learner’s evenings, volunteer teachers stay behind to supervise children while they do their homework.  To know more about the program, please follow  the link Homework help program
